About

Our Philosophy

Some of what we offer are bonafide antiques. Others are investment-grade collectibles. Some are simply well-made furniture, artwork, and objects that we think deserve to be appreciated into the future. We don't believe quality should be reserved for museums or the wealthy. We believe remarkable things should continue to be lived with.

Stories deepen our appreciation of an object. Bertrand Russell observed that apricots seem to taste better once you learn their name comes from precocious—early ripening. Knowledge adds another layer of enjoyment.

History is full of extraordinary things and stories that have been lost.

Unsigned paintings. Anonymous cabinetmakers. Handcrafted objects whose makers were never recorded. Their value doesn't disappear because the label did.

Our rule is simple: take a minute with it. Does it have it, or doesn't it?

We're living through an extraordinary moment. As collections change hands and artificial intelligence reshapes how we value physical objects, creativity and craftsmanship, countless meaningful objects are searching for their next custodians.

That's why North Passage exists.

Whether you're searching for a single piece, building a collection, or navigating an entire estate, we'd love to help. Few things excite us more than finding an object that deserves another chapter.
